MUAYTHAI Business

The internet is now a major media, information and entertainment delivery medium.
The internet and pay-to-view providers compete changing the impact on television, print media and analogue radio.
Internet hit print media hard, the effect gradually impacted on television and radio networks. The rise of the audio podcast, video blogs, YouTube and similar video-sharing sites with user-generated content is an increasing threat to large media companies.
File-sharing programs play a part in redefining viewing options. Viewers can watch discontinued programs at anytime, they don't have to wait until television networks choose to replay them.

Increased on-demand viewing has forced television networks to adapt and offer on-demand online services. Most network television channels now offer repeated programs or highlights of sports shows online after the television broadcast. Major corporations can buy into online trends. Murdoch's Newsltd bought into MySpace and launched an online pay-per-view service from Sky Sports. The Seven Network bought a big stake in internet phone company Engin.

The stakes are high but they don't guarantee consumer interest. Online streaming and high-definition (HD) providers like Miro and Joost raises questions. It seems unlikely this media can survive without advertising content. Consumers are already asking if these sites can offer the quality of content television viewers are accustomed to receiving. Sporting events and movies are available free online illegally but viewers may not want to risk prosecution.
They may prefer to pay to view in comfort rather than on a computer. As the internet and the living room are increasingly linked, traditional television program providers face serious competition from online content broadcasters.
